CNC dxf Files: Business Card Holders
Presented below are some of our patterns developed specifically for creating metal business card holders using a Water Jet.
Note: For best results you should add your own lead-in lines to the drawings as necessary.
Each pattern has been drawn in AutoCAD then converted to a dxf file. Just clic on the title to open or download the FREE zip file containing the dxf and instructions files.

I typically stack my material so I can cut as many card holders as possible in one run. Once cut, I dry the materal as quickly as possible to eliminate any rust forming on the steel. I'll use a file to smooth off any rough edges and clean the metal using a dry Scotch Bright scouring pad, then wipe the dust with a clean towel, and hang for painting. Since I don't have a spray booth, I've found there are many interesting spray paint finishes available at the local hardware store. I use a hammered metal finish on the majority of my metal items. It seems to look the best of all finishes I have tried.
I have picked up some small inexpensive labels I can print on my desktop printer, listing my Company Name, Phone, and web address. I attach a label to each business card holder I pass out when I visit potential clients. I've found they are not likely to throw the card holder away, and it serves as a reminder of the services I offer.
