SVG files for cutting ...
using Cricut, Silhouette, Brother, and other cutting machines.
I purchased my Cricut Maker in July of 2018 and spent a lot of my free time experimenting by cutting out many of the scroll saw patterns I had developed through the years, plus creating new experimental designs to explore the Cricut Maker's capibilities. I noticed that many times curves and some other shapes were not cutting as well as I wanted. As long as I kept the cutting sizes close to the original png file size, most items didn't look too bad. Although dfx files were one of the file types listed by Cricut for cutting, no matter what I did to the files, I was never satisfied with the cuts using them. That's when I decided I had to learn how to create svg files because they should give me the same quality as my original Autocad drawings.
Using svg files for cutting on the Cricut Maker resulted in chrisp and clean cuts, and all new items have been design as svg files. The biggest frustration I had was how many items would need to be converted to svg file. So, I will be adding files to the pages as I convert my drawings to svg files.
Note:
Each file has been carefully created to offer optimal cutting quality, and is absolutely free.
All files are zipped in order to provide you with your svg file, plus an image file of your svg. I would suggest you keep the two files in the same directory so you can easily see what your svg will look like.
You can cut each as is, or combine with other images to create your own special items.
